Welcome to Tash Perfect Paws! Our goal is to provide high-quality grooming services for your pets in a safe and comfortable environment. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Health and Medical Conditions:

Procedures within the grooming environment can be stressful for some dogs, especially for senior, young, overweight dogs, or those with medical concerns. The process may expose unknown medical conditions or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. In the best interest of your pet, this agreement gives Tash Perfect Paws permission to seek emergency veterinary treatment if deemed necessary. We will make every effort to contact you first, but this may not always be feasible. Unless negligence is determined on our part, all medical expenses are the responsibility of the owner. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge the following disclaimer:

 

Elderly, Infirm, Overweight, or Young Dogs Disclaimer:

A full groom can take in excess of three hours and may be physically demanding or stressful for some animals. While Tash Perfect Paws makes every effort to provide additional support to elderly, infirm, overweight, and young dogs, we cannot guarantee that your dog will be able to adequately support themselves for the duration of the groom, which may result in serious health risks. There is also an increased risk of minor injuries such as cuts and grazes. Tash Perfect Paws reserves the right to stop the grooming process at any time, with payment in full being due upon collection. Any pets deemed in need of immediate veterinary attention will receive it, and owners agree to be liable for any resulting additional costs.

 

Vaccinations:

By using our services, owners confirm that their dog is up to date with their annual vaccinations, including but not limited to Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Canine Parvovirus. An unvaccinated dog may put itself and others at risk. Tash Perfect Paws takes no responsibility for any dog that may contract these diseases. Proof of vaccination and veterinary information may be requested and must be provided upon request.

 

Fleas & Ticks:

Tash Perfect Paws maintains a flea- and tick-free environment. If your dog has a parasitic infestation, you must reschedule the grooming appointment until the infestation is cleared. A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee. If fleas or ticks are found on your dog during the appointment, you will be required to collect your dog immediately and will be liable for the full grooming fee. We will not be held responsible for any infections caused by ticks or their removal.

 

Coat Condition:

Tash Perfect Paws prioritises the well-being of pets over aesthetics. If a dog’s coat is excessively matted, we will remove it in accordance with The Animal Welfare Act 2006. While we attempt to identify matting during pre-groom consultations, some conditions may only become apparent once grooming has commenced. If we cannot reach you, we will act in the best interest of your pet’s welfare. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and accept the following De-Matting Disclaimer:

 

De-Matting Disclaimer:

Under The Animal Welfare Act 2006, it is an offence to cause unnecessary suffering to an animal, including excessive de-matting, which is painful and stressful. If de-matting requires more than 15 minutes, we are required to clip the coat short or refer you to a vet. We will attempt to de-matt no more than 5% of your dog’s coat. When a matted coat is removed, pre-existing skin conditions may be revealed, including redness and irritation. This process can also lead to increased scratching, shaking, or other temporary behavioral changes. If concerns arise, consult your vet. Additional charges may apply for de-matting services:

Targeted de-matting (e.g., behind ears, under legs): £5

General de-matting over the body: £10 (up to 15 minutes, after which a full clip-off will be recommended)

 

Behavioural Charges & Aggression:

Owners must inform Tash Perfect Paws of any known aggressive tendencies or behavioural concerns. If a dog displays aggression during grooming, we reserve the right to stop the session, with full payment still due. If your dog bites or causes injury, you accept responsibility for any resulting medical bills, loss of earnings, or damage to equipment. Dogs with extreme anxiety or nervousness will be accommodated as best as possible, but additional handling fees may apply.

 

Toilet Policy:

Please ensure your dog has been toileted before their appointment. Fouling in the salon may result in additional cleaning fees.

 

Timekeeping & Appointments:

Tash Perfect Paws operates on a strict schedule to ensure each dog receives quality one-on-one care. If you are early, we may not be able to grant immediate access. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule the appointment, and full payment will be required. Dogs must be collected on time; late collection fees will apply.

 

Pricing & Additional Charges:

All prices are estimates and may be subject to additional charges based on:

Size and weight of the dog

Coat condition (e.g., matting, excessive shedding)

Flea or tick infestations

Nervous, senior, or aggressive dogs requiring extra handling

 

Cancellations & No-Show Policy:

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations to avoid full charges. No-shows will be charged in full and must be paid before rebooking.

 

General Conditions:

Tash Perfect Paws does not groom pregnant or in-season bitches. Dogs registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act will not be accepted. If your dog is in season at the time of a booked appointment, 48 hours' notice must be provided to avoid a cancellation fee. We strongly advise insuring your pet. While we take all reasonable precautions, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or illness except in cases of proven negligence. If a dog appears unwell at the time of the appointment, they will not be accepted for grooming to prevent potential cross-infection.

 

Hold Harmless Agreement:

By using our services, you agree to hold Tash Perfect Paws, its owners, employees, and affiliates harmless from any damage, loss, or claims arising from any known or unknown condition of your pet. These Terms and Conditions may change at any time without notice and will supersede any previous agreements.

 

GDPR Statement:

To provide services, we collect and store limited personal information in accordance with relevant legislation. Your data will never be shared with third parties without consent. You have the right to request and review your information. To do so, please contact us at tashperfectpaws@gmail.com.
